Greece holds local elections and the first pwoerful seas of winter appear

Sunday 15 October 2006 is the day of local elections in Greece.
Though not all, as in major national elections, many will travel to their near, or not so nearby home village to vote.
October is still good and mild in selected parts of Greece (see http://www.Cretetravel.com for one area that has good weather if anywhere does!) but winter tinges have crept in, some tougher seas have been spotted on some shores and excessive vicious rainfall hit Thessaloniki last week.
My guess - it is a guess - is that the weekend of the election will show mildly good weather.
